Computer Support Is Always at Hand With Online Technical Support

By James Langer
A computer is a smart gadget and it would be safe to say it has a mind of its own. Wherein, at times it might end up catering to all your whims and fancies whereas on the other hand it may just end up acting as a stubborn and downright mean device driving you to the brink. And yes, when it ends up doing that the only thought which ends up coming to mind is to just go ahead and literally hammer the daylight out of the stupid system.

Well, coming to the last part don't yet lose hope for you can end up acting as a technician and resolve the most prominent 3 issues plaguing any PC on your own. Set of steps which we would say are highly recommended before you end up calling computer support.

Three common errors and their fixes

• PC is running low on virtual memory message

So, you are working on the PC and suddenly you notice the performance is gradually getting slower and slower. Programs are getting harder to open and close. And while waiting forever for the Web pages to be displayed you end up getting a serious-sounding message "virtual memory is too low". Now, take a breather for this is a message a majority of PC users would have received somewhere down the line while working on the system. In such a scenario resolution is easy and all you need to do is:

• Increase the size of the virtual memory on the PC

• Add more RAM to your computer

• Windows sliding off the desktop

Moving program windows around the desktop can be literally a pain in the neck. You can click-and-hold the window's title bar to move it around. But what do you do when you accidentally move a window's title bar off the desktop so you can't grab it anymore? The window is stuck in that inconvenient position.

• Select the program window you're trying to move and then program's shortcut menu is displayed.

• Click Move.

• Use your Left Arrow, Right Arrow, Up Arrow, or Down Arrow keys to move the window so you can see its title bar on your screen.

• After you move the window where you want it, press Enter.

• Missing Taskbar

Situated at the bottom of the computer screen, the taskbar is a horizontal bar which displays open programs on a desktop. Also comprising of the Start menu it allows computer users to navigate across various programs installed on a computer. In many ways, it is considered as pivotal for operating a PC. Since, sans it a computer will come to a grinding halt. However, the good news is that the taskbar never disappears-it just hides. It may only end up hiding behind other open windows, or at the top or side of your screen.

At the end of the day, all we can say is that there is no issue which you can't resolve on your own. But then again, if something is really troubling you big time and you believe it is beyond your technical acumen, please feel free to get in premier tech support.
